RooME - a new world at your fingertips

Days in the hospital can be boring and monotonus for a child.

RooME aim is to give to the young patients a way to escape, at least virtually, from their hospital room: thanks to this AR App, children can customize their place and take a safari around the Savannah or visit the snow-clad landscapes of the North Pole.

Children will not be alone in their journey: a funny lion or a cute penguin will take their company and they will engage the young patients with some minigames.

Who we are

We introduce ourselves! We are Martina Grassi, Andrea Lai, Valentina Lonardo, Miriam Tanda and Federica Taverniti.

We are a group of italian university students attending the master's degree in Cinema and Communication Engineering at Politecnico di Torino and we have developed this project during the "Virtual Reality" course.
